Someone sent me a PM on a car forum, he found a TTA for sale on a lot in Fort Worth. He sent me these pictures he took. It's seen better days.

Looks like they want $9200 for it. It's got the wrong spoiler, rough exterior, missing a badge and at least the drivers seat looks pretty bad. No idea about its mechanical condition. If this catches anyones attention, I'll see if I can find out where it is, exactly.

It'd be hard for me to give $2,500 bucks for that thing.......definitely been rode hard and put away wet...

what about the dark day somewhere in the future when the last 89TTA in exsistence gets scrapped? this just means were that much closer...

I have one that might be for sale. T-Top leather with 75K on it in really good condition. I am looking at a festival car and will have to sell mine in order to get it. Not saying it is for sale, but just maybe if things work out for me.

here are some pics, I have the original seats, but installed some recaros to try and save the originals. I am looking for $13,500. Has the new spoiler and everything is working on it. Love the car, just always wanted this certain car that I am looking at. Another TTA.

Do you happen to have the VIN??

no im afraid i dont. the guy was just walking through and took a few pictures.

he said the place was called "Rucker Performance Custom Bikes and Hot Rods"

google comes up with this phone# when searching for "rucker performance" "fort worth" (817) 838-3200

if you really wanted to know i bet they could tell you.

Thanks, I might give them a call just to be able to add the VIN to the list of TTA's we keep for future reference.

So, Here's the deal on this car.

Bill Rucker, Rucker Performance and Hot Rods, sold that car to a client and its in the que for restoration. And brother, its a basket case ...!

Bill Rucker bought a wrecking yard in an estate sale and the guy who owned it had been putting certain cars he deemed worthy enough to the side and not crushing them. Rucker has taken these cars from the junkyard and put them on a lot in town and marked them for sale, then he restores them for you. He has a used car lot on a busy street that is nothing but rusted out old junkers. And there was about 15-20 that are in the sold area. the TTA being one of them.

The VIN is 1G5FW2171KL 24892......I could not get the last digit......

The car was locked so i could not open the hood, but this thing is in poor shape....it's savable as it looks like it has not been hit too hard....

The last time it was on the road was 1995.........

The lot is at 5518 Belknap in Ft Worth and its an open lot where anyone can just walk around......

BTW...the car next to the TTA is a 1970 Mustang.....

well... hey, at least its getting restored. the longer these types of cars can be saved, the better. i love really old cars, and they only get rarer :/ eventually theyll all dissapear off the street.

It's funny if you look at it on google earth you can see the TTA parked in the yard there! We need more pics! Get your camera and take a trip back over there Phillip! :)

I must say the attention to detail on this place is unlike I've saw anywhere on a car forum, and I'm on alot of car forums LOL
