Hardtop/Cloth for sale

I just spoke to the seller. He sounds like a real nice fellow. The car sounds even better, all stock and well maintained. He has the cat cut out though. The car has gatorbacks on it and he never drives on these tires, he puts different tires and rims on for driving and saves the gators for shows.

He said he is particular on who he sells to though, and I believe him. Real good guy though.
 
Ya probably the seller is really nice. I am sure he would have no problem telling you. Just give him a call and ask him.
 
That car belongs to a buddy of mine! He has a lot of very interesting cars. Surprises me that he's parting with it. Rare indeed! Am I wrong to think that a cloth int. hardtop is the most valuable of the TTAs? One of fifteen would be kind of cool!

Hello Jan, This is the 2nd of 3 TTA's I've owned through the years. All three can verify that your VIN/Build# list is correct as far as sequencing of the cars. Due to privacy concerns, I prefer not to disclose the VIN.

All: This car is a fine example of a low mileage, original TTA. I'm not a motivated seller at this point, but my life would be simpler without the car in my collection. I feel my asking price is VERY fair and represents the value of the car. It is also my feeling that hardtop cars will appreciate AT LEAST to a level that we see today with '73-'74 SD T/As.

Included in the sale of the car is my collection of NOS TTA specific parts and extra set of WS6 wheels with BFG sticky rubber all conservatively valued at $3500. Most of the NOS parts came from Ron Kristian's collection when he decided to get out of TTA's himself. If the car sells, I will be doing the same. I have a '87 GN I can focus on for my turbo fix.

It took me two years of religious searching to find this car. I know of only one other Hardtop/Cloth car offered for sale publicly since I bought mine in '06. It is my desire to see this car go to an enthusiast with sunday drive/preservation in mind, ideally a fellow Pontiac collector.

I'm happy to discuss the car further by phone. I can be reached at 563-582-1812, it may be nessasary to leave a message since I'm not always able to get to the phone.

Hey KID! I made it official and pulled my ad for the Bee off Cars Online today! Next thing I'll be doing is getting Bob K's cam and blueprinting the motor.

Summer can't come quick enough!!

Had I not just bought a harde top cloth car I would buy this one for sure. But I still can't stop thinkin about it. I tell you guys these tta's are an addiction.

Hello Ron, sorry I 'spelt your name wrong... I was close anyway! 1048 went to a flipper in Chicago. I'm not sure where it landed after that. That was a neat car, I just decided it didn't make any sense to keep a car around that I couldn't put miles on.

How's GA been treating you? I bet you don't miss the winters!

Hey Robert good to see you post here! I think (if you still have the car) you should trailer it out to the TTA reunion! It deserves to be there. How cool would it be to get some pics of a few hardtops together again! I think when we line the cars up we should put a hardtop at the end of every isle! :) If you want make a new post with some pictures of the car. I'm sure everyone would love to drool over it! :thumbup:

Didn't even notice the spelling, no biggie. Good to see you on the board here. GA is good but this winter has been unseasonably cold.

I forget, are you around the Quad Cities? I was just out there and in Cedar Rapids a couple of weeks ago while all the snow was coming down. So yeah, I'm not missing that type of winter!

Hey all, it is Bob's car that I aquired a few weeks back. Very nice car collection Bob, great seller and fanatic! Car will hopefully make it up to OH this summer for the reunion.

Sweeeet!! I can't wait to see it! The track has some great places to take pics so we'll have to get all the hardtops lined up that show up!
