Don't know, been trying for about 8 weeks.. they keep saying e-mail confirmation sent but it never does, even the paying vendors are having problems.. real PINA, several things i thought about buying but can't even respond DontKnow:
You need to remove the grey plastic bezel first, do a search on thirdgen.org and I'm sure someone done a writeup on it ... not hard just takes time to write it all up :whistle:
Once you get to the point where you remove the cluster you will need to be careful as it's a bit tight getting it out over the steering wheel on some cars ... might need to loosen the dashpad as well not to crack the plastic clear lens by mistake.

Highly recommended ... I didn't at one point and cracked the lens and had to replace it ... :angry:
Might want to post those pics here Jan. I can't even open them while I'm logged in and I'm a moderator over there! The upgrade they did made a mess of that site! Just hot link them back to this site is the best way. I do it all the time over there. We would rather have the TTA guys over here where they belong anyway!

Here's some pictures from when I took my cluster apart, once you got it out and taken the cover off it this is what you see. Speedo connected to the PCB in the back, the larger connector is the one that goes to the small motor I had to replace on mine (that one drives the trip and odometer) and you see the motor on the right hand side in the two first pictures. It's held in by 2 screws and as far as I remember you will not have to take the neadel or face plate off like I did on mine but you will see if that is necissary or not once you get it out. For the donor make sure it's a low milage one and it works lol ... I got another spare at the time as well just in case

This post was a great help. Just wanted to add my experience. My odometer stopped working. I probably wouldn't have noticed except it failed in the middle of checking my gas mileage. Upon removal I discovered the motor was fine but the drive gear was frozen, I took a unit from an 88 Camaro and used a little PB Blaster on the shaft (using a Q-tip) and let it soak overnight, It worked but I don't know if this will damage the gear, As of now the odometer in my car is working fine after the PB Blaster treatment. Will post here if I have any further issues.
