Just got back from emissions and it failed BIG time, but it just dawned on me , does the RJC powerplate block the EGR ? cause i have one on it :disgust:
 
Not only drilling the hole.........but what if you dumped in a few gallons of E85? That should knock your emissions in the dirt. Jus' sayin.

I've heard of people doing that, they seem to swear by it. i dont care what it takes just want to get it over with, now i have the honor of paying $23 for another test :thumbdwn:
 
Okay, new egr, egr silinold (whatever) tt emission chip, lots of tuning and now a new cat, everytime it failed the Nox test, if it fails again it will get a new tag from a diffrent county( this will be the 5th try) and the last :fyou:

I hate to hear that!!! Looks like you are running out of options. Well you could move, where they don't have that crap!!!:boxing:
 
Damn! that sucks! I hope you pass next time. I may have to do this soon too.
I hate this crap. If a car is over 15 yr old it should get a pass in any state.
How many people actually keep rides is a mass numbers to effect pollution in any amount longer than 15 years? Good luck next time.
 
Well good luck Robert, I remember when they had emissions here in FL. Anyways if you need a different county Im not to far from you I think. Im in Live Oak area FL.
 
Yeah, considering i drove it 194 miles between tests i'm sure it had a big impack on the planet's emission's. I am already getting a tag for #818 through my son-in-law since i know it wont pass, if #308 fail's again i will do the same thing and the EPA can kiss my ...... grit's :dance:
 
Tomorrow is the big day for #308, plan on being a white blur for about 10-mil down the hwy then try the smog again, maybe the Gsp will be eating donuts when i go by( they don't have a sense of humor in this state), bftitctajttarider

Yes and no, you have to get a new sticker every yr for the tag (on or before your b-day) and you need a new emisson to get a sticker, that said i will wait a week or so and have it tested again which will be good for another yr. because of the age it won't have to ever be tested again, simple huh ? :thumbup: Alot of you guys (and gals) miss all the fun

Don't get too comfy though, you'll have to convert it to run on algae in a few years...
 
Glad you passed Robert! Dont have to deal with that here. Has to be so irritating to fail repeatedly. Just another way for big brother to keep a leash on you. Display your emmisions sticker proudly-you earned it!
