Just changed the oil on no 1078 and had used a plastic crush washer for the engine oil drain plug; had a couple so thought I would use them at my last oil change.
Driven the car maybe 500 miles since last oil change and the drain plug were loose and could be removed with no effort what so ever; no real oil leak but seeping out I could tell.
So in short don't use those cheap once you find at the autostore that are all plastic rather get the metal ones with the rubber seal on them this is what GM use and used.

Only had two of them, used on this time around then went on-line and ordered another 10 :cake:
