1500 TTA's and price fixing??

I was wondering if all TTA's were resgistered on a site such as this decided their cars were worth lets say..... $100,000.00 and no one would sell their car for less than a pre deterined amount what would happen in the market for this car. Just add thoughts to this topic.

consider this a topic starter nothing more since not all 1500 TTA's are registered

i could believe it could be done to a certain degree, $100,000 probably wouldnt work, but i think $25,000 isnt out of reason, people try to sell them for that anyways.

I agree! When people ask me about me selling my car, I tell them sure! $28,000 firm! I don't plan on ever selling my 20th TTA, but for that much, why not? Of coarse, if the prices do go up, so will my asking price! Ha!

well, it works in theory but when it comes down to it, if someone actually was trying to sell the car, they would sell it much cheaper because they know it would sell fast. If everyone wanted 100k and I asked 50k, it would sell very fast. But, who is gonna give that much money for this car anyway? 25k is more reasonable but even that puts it out of the hands of a lot of the buyers today. I have two and have had 3 but would have had none at 25k a piece. I could get a lot faster car for 25k if I could even afford that. My thoughts are that I will never sell my hardtop car unless it was some ridiculous price someone had offered. I have considered selling the t-top for the right price but the last few months were quite a slump for these cars for some reason. Hopefully the market has picked back up since gas prices have gone down, vacation season is most of the way through and tax season is over.

looks like everyone likes 25k I just put 100k in for topic starter. and of course 1500 car owners are tougher to regulate than lets say 547 gnx owners. As far as the car being out of reach for most people just their production numbers do that. If GM wanted the car to be avalable to everyone the would have made it a standard engine in the car

The best thing to raise the value of our cars is TIME! Since the dis-continuation of F-bodies, I suggest that we all hang on to what we have because one day, the only turbocharged V6 Trans Am from factory will be worth a heck of a lot of money! Just my two cents!
