I started a thread on here last week. And I started a similar one on Turbobuick.com asking if anybody makes a 3 1/2 MAF pipe for a TTA. I've gotten no responses. I called the guy who was making the 3" downpipes for our cars (Jim) and he isn't interested in making one. I heard Grumpy from turbobuick.com was making them for a while. I sent him a message and he said he wasn't selling enough of them.
So here I am with no leads for an MAF pipe. I could settle for a 3" but so far I haven't even found one of those for sale that would work. Does anybody have any ideas? I'd just have one made locally and pay the $$$ it would take for a custom piece the problem is that my engine is out, my car is apart, and I don't know the measurments or angles it would take to make the piece right.
If I can finally find someone who can make one of these things does anybody else want one? I can't help but think that other people are switching over to 3 1/2" LS1 MAF sensors and would benefit from the equal sized MAF pipe.
