Has anyone seen this 3pc diecast set at Toys R Us? It contains a '69 TA, '79 10th Aniv, & a '99 30th Aviv. The box says it's a GM/Pontiac licensed product and Toys R Us exclusive. The thing that really gets me is that the colors are all wrong. The '69 is silver, the '79 is red, and the '99 is white with red trim. That's not to say the fact the the '89 TTA is missing! I spotted this in a Toys R Us in Canada, 80$ or 90$ Canadian, that's about $50-$55 US. Haven't seen this package in the US yet but I own the '69 & '99 in the correct colors by the same company. The '79 is also offered in the correct color combo.

It is availible here in the states! I've got two already! They retail for $59.95 here.
When a company wants to package a diecast car by a company (maker), and they want their name on the box, the colors of the cars must be different! So, exclusives by companies like Toys-R-Us have different paint than the regulars cars by the maker of the diecast. Check out all the Ertl 1/18th scale cars. Toys-R-Us exclusives, Target exclusives, etc. Nice to collect, though!
A note on the three pack. In 1969, the mule cars of the Trans Am were silver! No black stripes, though!
Another note on all these diecasts! The 1999 30th Anniversary Trans Am, had two versions! The first, solid blue anidized wheels, with the emblem of the 30th on the headrest. The second version has the silver lip around the wheels, and a more true headrest like the real car! I also heard that there were two versions of the 1979 Trans Ams! Red taillights for the first version, and smoked taillights for the second! I have both, but as of yet, I haven't opened them to look for myself!
The kit itself also helps celebrate Pontiac's 75th Anniversary (it has the design on the box).
You can see them when you come out to visit!
