47 degrees, X-MAS VACATION TTA cruise!

RatFink

TORQUE
I'm still on Christmas vacation, so today I got the TTA out. it was 47 out and chilly. I had some fresh 100 octane gas that I figured I'd use it up before winter. So I went for cruise, met a hot chick from High School hadn't seen in a while. Had my lunch paid for, then with a full belly thought I'd crank the girl (the car) up a bit. Boost set to 25psi, alcy set to come on at 20 psi, and it was rippin. Went for a about 3 full throttle runs, one with the exhaust cut-out open, Ball Bearing tech is for real, spools like crazy. I turned the fuel back a bit and I think my over rich problem last fall was simply a case of turning the fuel reg back to 41 psi with the line off. Just that bit got it crispy and the turbo is likin it. At the middle of third gear WOT I had no knock at 25psi strong.
Had to shut it down though, road was growing short fast. Good times yall'
Get em' out. Your not getting any younger. Especially YOU!:WOOT:

Way to much snow on the roads up here to be drivin her.......

Shes covered up till the street sweepers are done cleanin in spring

I put mine to bed early this year (Sept) and now it's sleeping. I wanted to take it out on some nice cold crisp days of the winter too. Maybe in the spring. Nothing like a turbo car in the winter. It's like 2 different cars!

Ouch, well, that sucks...When some global warming comes around your way you'll be golden! I'm lucky this year to have a good mix of cold but dry weather here.:headbang: :burnrubber:

With 16 days of precipitation this month, roads haven't been dry very often lately. I'm hoping to take 916 out today. These things love the cold air. If the roads are good and the weather is nice, I might let #14 stretch its legs on Sunday.

You guys that are still able to enjoy them around this time of the year are lucky, we are getting 5-7 inches of snow today. What would be a good snow tire for the car? Just kidding!!!!!

I just drove mine. Musta left miles of rubber on the roads. Got the new converter in and it is an animal. Spools faster than the stock turbo. I know you guys say no way but it is crazy. Can't wait to get that 11 second slip

I'm a believer, covertors can make a big difference. What stall did you put in it and whats your turbo again? DP?
