I currently have this throw back on my car now with stock injectors. I just ordered 42s and a TT chip. My question is what should I do with this set up? Should I just disable and remove it? or should I leave it how it is?
I'd disable and remove it. You should be able to run injectors big enough in the manifold that you won't need the 7th injector and that's just one more thing to worry about.
Can you rig alcohol to it? Use it as an alky injection? Just curious. I remember those from back in the ealry 90's. I think it was an Applied Technology or Kenne Bell part.
Take pics before you upgrade. Kinda cool to have some of those ATR parts. I wanted the Liquid Intercooler back in the days before everyone went Alky Inj.
Do you have the whole ATR DP and 3" exhaust? Any motor pics?
I do 3inch stainless and wastegate, and that liquid ic, and a pitbull chip, looking to go with an air to air ic, im telling you this is a throw back in its current state
I dont know yet I still have to find an air IC. What do you mean air dam? An IC shroud or the plastic under the bumper? PLus I dont know what it is worth. As far as I know everything works. I can double check
If your interested in alky you might want to run something like the AEM water injection kit, its progressive, 150psi pump, all methanol safe, 3 nozzles tops being the 550ml or 8.7GPH and best of all instead of cutting into wires for a MAF or MAP signal you just hook a vaccum line to it and it reads boost that way, you can prob hide the tank and pump in the fenderwells or in the front bumper
Also one other thing I forgot to mention, granted my current supercharged 4 cylinder is different I think the basics still apply. I'm running 298whp on 63lb injectors I notice a half point richer in AFR with the methanol on. I run the snow performance boost juice its 50/50 premixed water and methanol. I'm running 8 extra degrees of timing also. Just getting the extra half point lets the injectors run you a little further without maxing them out
