I wanted to say hi. I have been lurking on the site for quite a while and have not psoted much, but I need some opinions. I have a friend who had an 89 TTA with 8,432 miles on it. It has been sitting in his parents garage for at least 7 years. It has not been started either for those 7 years. The car is all there. He has the decal kit, not installed, all badges are there, and he has the window sticker too. The car is mint!! The interior looks like it was never sat in and the original tires, though flat spotted, are still are soft. The interior still smells new. I am a Mustang fanatic, but when I think about muscle cars from my time, I am 37, the two that come to mind are GN's and 89 TTA. I currently have an 86 Mustang GT with 32K miles, all original and mint, that I am trying to sell so I can buy the TTA. I am not sure if I will sell it or keep it and get the TTA too. I guess if I get my asking price I will let it go. My question after all this is, should I get the car after sitting for so many years. My friend who is a mechanic says it is not a problem. We will change the fludis and add some fresh gas, and do some other things, forgive me I am a CPA, and he feels it should be fine. I have known the car since it came home from the dealership. He is asking $14K. Thanks for your opinion.
