I found a 99 Trans Am conv. It is white/white top, white leather, blue wheels and inserts in seats and blue stripe. It is a 6 speed with traction control. Has Hurst shifter and 12 disc changer. Car has 17k miles and is in MINT CONDITION. In your opinion what is this car worth? The guy has all papers on car,1 owner. Also has extra set of floor mats.

Check www.kbb.com Kelly Blue Book. You can get low and high values. Go with that info. Enough were produced so values should be available.

That's a 30th Anniv. TA white the blue stripes right. I bought a 95 conv red/white top, white leather w 8k on it for $21 a few years ago. I would think a 30th anniv w/ 17k would be worth somewhere around the low 20's.

I went to see the car last night. IT HAS BLUE TOP/NOT WHITE. Car is "as new". HOWEVER owner wants 30k. Also car had 15,400 miles.

carcrazyguy,
The car had a 38K sticker price when it was new. Look very close at the wheels. Many of these wheels have scratches or inconsistant finish on them and they have not been available from GM for sometime. The other thing is the 30th TA owners kit was a problem and many of the owners never saw one. The blue top is the correct top for the car.

Many of these 30th owners usually want way more than the car should be worth at 2 going on 3 years old. 30K seems high, but it may an average price. These cars will continue to depreciate over the next 10 years like any anniversary trans am. I would expect the Convertable with very low miles would be the most collectable.

I misunderstood your initial post. I did not realize it is a 30th Anniversary Trans Am. So not very many are sold. It would not be specifiacally called out in the Kelly Blue Book. A fair price would be by taking a WS6 covertable equipt the same way and add about 1K to the low and high values.
