A/C blowing chunks

I am getting what I believe are chunks of foam gaskets through my vents. They are small, but they leave an oily residue if some one happens to crush one before I pick it up. Is this common? Are there a lot of gaskets? How bad is it to replace them? What do I replace them with.

I would like to get this handled before I install my new seats and carpeting.

If you plan on replacing the those seals.....good luck:confused:!!
Lot's of work involved. There's several area's that the foam weatherstrip stuff is used. One main place is in the box that houses your heater core. If you open that you may find that's the one that's spitting pieces out.
