A\C charge

Ok guys,
A/C blowing hot air so I need to recharge it or whatever. Does anyone know the pressure specs on our cars? Is this info somewhere on the car? Most cars
Run 30lbs(low pressure side of course). Please help. Thanks!

There has to be a leak somewhere. You need to fix that first. Charge it back up with R12 or autofrost. There should be a label under hood that tells you how much R12 the system holds. If you use Autofrost fill it to 80% capacity. Don't use R134. It will not cool as well and you will be disappointed.

If you just want to charge without fixing your leak, R134a uses 80% of the full R12 charge. But you have to be leaking somewhere.

You guys are right. I need to find that leak and then recharge it. The TTA system calls for around 2.25 lbs of R12 so 80% of that is around 1.8 ish of R134 or Autofrost or ???
It is also recommended to fill with like 40% of the 80% with liquid. Can't have all liquid in there. The a/c system is designed to compress a gas... Not liquid.
I'm learning guys keep that good info coming. Thanks!
