Alky pump location

I desperately need a visual reference as to where Julio's instructions want the pump mounted.

Can someone with one installed get me picture??

it goes on the drivers side underneath the battery tray, I believe you have to drill holes for the mounting in the battery tray. There's a large area that is open right there if you look. You won't be able to see the pump when it's installed from the top of the car.

Julio has the best customer support there is. I didn't even buy the kt but he answered every question I had. I was going to put alky on my car but I didn't want to go through mounting it on the battery tray and running all the lines. For those that aren't looking to keep it stock I would suggest Razors kit 100%, I think he is one of the best suppliers out there for the cost and he stands behind his product even until you push it past the limit he'll help you out. He understands what the community needs, and knows how to meet them, hell I respect anyone who gives his personal cell and email and supports his product even through some really tough times. If any of my cars ever get alky, I will 200% guarantee it'll be coming from Alkycontrol.com

I've been dragging my feet on the install because I'm on deck at the dealership for an open bay with the mechanic I trust to do the rear end.

Maybe this weekend I can install the alky system as there's no chance I'll get the call to bring the car up NOW.

I did install the TE44 this afternoon but I haven't completely buttoned it up. I hope Julio is available for questions on the weekends.

There's a reference to 2 contollers and I only have the one PAC contoller in the kit and there is a cover sheet with a blurb about an updated controller and to disregard the photosDontKnow:.

I have two seperate L.E.D.'s with pigtails, one RED, one another color I bought the lower dash panel with the head unit installed and it has a RED L.E.D. in it too. The wire colors for the low level pig tail are said to be TAN and there is no TAN wire in the whole set up.DontKnow:.
I'm assuming that one of the L.E.D.s is the low level light and I suppose I could use either one of the 2 seperate lights.

I was also wondering if the progressive contoller could be mounted underhood or if it needs to be inside for sure. The instruction make a loose reference to wire tieing it to the steering column.

Plus the section for the replacement overflow tank is about 2 sentence long with a photo of a typical install next to the air cleaner on the opposite side of where it use to be on the car. Right where my evap can is too. That doesn't look like it has room for a relay let alone the bracketry and recovery tank supplied.

Take a few pictures of your setup. There is a turnon led (bi color) and a low level LED (red).

There are two controllers. One in the lower dash and then the one on the far right. Both of these are kept inside the car.

The middle one is a powerblock with a fuse.

Oh, and what to do about the overflow heat shield cover?? Is it not used?

The heat shield still goes on. I just received a new tank like you have pictured and plan on using it. That wiring is a little different then the directions but it is fairly easy.

I do not see the powerblock either but that PAC controller looks to have more wires coming out of it and it looks to have a fuse holder on the far right wire.

Pump attitude location, which direction should it face under the battery tray area.

Where to mount the replacement overflow bottle?

And, on the head unit. Is that LED a multi color one? or is suppose to be RED.

Low level=Red LED

I mounted my replacement overflow bottom by the airfilter. You can see the lid of it in this picture. Very bottom left. It just sits there. I ran the hose under the black cover that sits on top of the radiator cover.

The LED on the "headunit" is red. It is a dim light that just shows power. I don't even notice it.

The PAC controller is not mounted on my car. It is just tucked under the lower dash piece.

There are 3 total LED's in the kit.

One for the low level sender and one for the bicolor LED that changes color. Both of those are mounted on the apillar usually.

The 3rd led is just an LED that signifies power is supplied to the controller.
