Anyone else keeping track of TTA vins?

Ho all!
I was wondering who else is keeping track of TTA vins and build numbers.
Certain people have all of them, but won't share unless you spend big $$$.
No thanks.
Some people don't share no matter what.
Again, no thanks.
I like to share.
I have a good number of them, and am trying to correlate them to build numbers.
I don't give out names of owners, unless I have owner's permission. And even then, would ask before doing it.
Also, are you (if you are doing it) asking for copies of the build numbers to verify the numbers?
Just wondering.
Either email me at:
WarbirdTA at Hotmail.com
I would love to talk with everyone, even if you only have your own car to give info on.
Not sure what everyone's opinion of posting the results on this website are (and I haven't even asked Chris yet), as if it's a good idea or not.
I would love to hear your views on that as well.
Heck, post the comments here if you want.

Let me know,

George :beach:

I have been trying to keep track of any hardtops that pop up, so far I have 7 vins(3 cloth, 4 leather)and some information on 4 others(3 cloth, 1 leather).

I dont know the specifics about what can happen when posting or exchanging vins so I cant comment on that, but I have shared mine in the past.

I've been keeping track for about a year; I have numbers for 37 cars. The only ones that are verified are my two. I don't have any problems giving out my vin numbers. Does anyone know the build numbers of the 3 actual Pace Cars?

If someone wants my vin number I can give it to them. Lemme know. My car is near the end at 1546 so it might be useful to someone.

No problem sharing my vin and build number ... also got and can get the vins for most of the TTA's in the UK ....

Jason, I could use yours, especially being so high. The highest one I have now is 1491. Jan, I've picked yours up already from older threads. Thanks, guys.

I already have the vin to #1546.
I don't know if they really match up, as I only have my PHS letter and no one else's.
But people have listed numbers.
I do have the numbers listed with the vins, even though I can't verify them.
I do have one vin after yours, without a build number.
I have vins that don't match the build numbers.
In other words, early vins with older build numbers, so I don't know for sure.
I don't know if anyone wants to send me a copy of their PHS build number letter.
Also, I have the vin, and the original window sticker to one of the actual Pace Cars, the one named Malibu.
Way back in April of '89, the West Coast Zone Office sent it to me, knowing I was into these cars. At the time, I didn't know what car it was really for. So, that's pretty cool to have/own.
Too bad I don't know the build number.
I only have 30 build numbers, with over 80 vins so far.

Jason, yours seems about right, but without PHS, it's pretty much impossible to determine the exact number. They don't always go in order. For example, 906 has a higher vin than my 916. John Pearcy has quite a few build numbers; it would be nice if he posted what he has.
