Anyone ever order these 2 items?

He lists them for Turbo TA. Head Bolts cost me just over a 100 dollars. This can't be accurate, right?

I seen this coil a while back and was thinking of ordering one to have on hand. Price is right for sure. Any users?

Joe

Hi Joe!

I've bought parts from this vendor before. He usually sells stock stuff. I wouldn't buy either one of what you have posted. Spring for ARP head bolts and find an AC Delco coil pac and module.
Just sayin!

Those are TTY head bolts.

Coil pack is not AC delco.

NOS4GN is a good vendor, but like Frank said, steer clear.

You get what you pay for.

They do, but that isn't why the price is lower.
I know that ARP head bolts are better than TTY, but how could they market that to fit a TTA if they are too long? That would be my main concern for anyone thinking of buying them.

Glen @ Nos4GN is very good to deal with and I've ordered stuff from him several times, in fact I got a box of stuff from him waiting at my CA office that I will pick up Monday when I'm out there.

If a listing on his site is incorrect just tell him and he will adjust it.

He got some good NOS stuff at decent prices.

For the coil pack I would prefer the AC Delco one (he usually run a very good price on them on and off) but if he claims this Magnavox coil pack is good I would not hesitate to try it however as long as the Delco ones are out there I would go that route.

Ive used the other coilpack. Take my suggestion....

And I'd be willing to bet that most people rebuilding a tta motor will know the difference.

Hi 8289ta,

May be it's just me but, I wouldn't use anythinig else other than ARP fasteners (head bolts). I'm not saying this is a bad vendor, in fact, this is a good vendor that supports our hobby. It's just a matter of sellecting the best from the 'it's cheap'. If you want a good motor, build a good motor! But guess what, threre's no guaranties.
All you have to do is give them the legths of the bolts, they probably have have them in stock.
Don't setlle fror anything less than tne best.

The length was my concern. I wouldn't buy anything other than ARP..... description seemed a bit misleading though.

Thanks for the info on the after market coil Jason.
