Anyone know where to get a replacement coolant tank heat shield?

Adding a pic of the TTA at a cruise night with some TA friends this past Sunday. The TTA took home a trophy! _ one of 3 trophies for 50+ cars. Not bad!

I ordered one from them about 2 yrs ago, along with a new coolant tank. It is made well and looks good. I've never heard any bad reviews about the heat shield cover. If I had any complaint, it would be it took a while to get it-about 4 weeks-but at that time they only made them to order-didnt have any in the inventory.
 
I have had one over 2 years and it is great, well it was designed off of WS6's original overflow tank blanket! Thats what I have been told.
 
I had Brian bring one for me last year at the re-union and not had any issues at all with it, well done and as close to the original a you can get (actually looks better I think) and fits perfect.

And only vendor that make them for us as well these days ...

Should hold up nicely, but I don't drive mine that much so don't have that many miles on mine since I put it on last year.

Yessir....I sacrificed my original to the cause and worked over the phone with the girl who actually made them.

I got the prototype and suggested a change, but I don't know if it was implemented.

All in all I'm very happy with that product and it has held up very well.

You could try calling them. The last account I had the price was $125, I would like to get another one myself!
 
I have an account with them, and I checked my order of the heat sheld back in 2010 and it shows the product is not available. I think a woman was building them from what I heard in the past, they used WS6 shield blanket to go by. Still would like to get another one! Thanks for the interest Vincent!
 
Figures - I finally start showing the car some attention. I can't find the repro intercooler tags either. was hoping to pull it off, paint it and get a new tag. I did install a turbotweak chip and new injectors. Car runs nice now.
 
I know what you mean about not finding parts, I got a lot of parts that I had forgot I had ordered!
 
I am not getting any replies from Gbodyparts. I sent them 2 emails and nothing. Anybody have a way to contact them?
 
I just heard back from Gbody parts, and unfortunately, they are no longer available. Anyone have any ideas about getting them made?
 
No doubt they can be made, Gbodyparts was at the reunion in 2011 and had a few of them, I should have picked up a couple extra ones! Who ever makes them, they will just need a good one for a pattern to go by.
