Very Very Very nice!!!!

I like the pic of the car through the hood window, that's cool
How come the pic of the speedometer has the needle on zero?? SHould be on the 200+ lol.

I like to troll on the zr1 forum from time to time just to read what the zr1 owners have to say. Sure would be killer!!! Like Jason said its a great base to work with for building a race car, but I think stock would be enough for me.

They have had some zr1's at the dealers here but I have never drivin one. Only sat in one. I think I'd have to trade in allllll my cars for that one if I was to get one. But then that's all you really need!! Speed AND reliability. I don't think I could get used to those two goign together lol.

AWESOME can man,

Thanks

Jarred

Very, very nice!! And its white!

Over the years, I've had several white cars:

'87 305 Firebird
'88 TA GTA
'94 TA GT
'02 TA Firehawk Convertible

I still love F-body cars - and am left with only one now, my '68 Camaro...which is blue!

Thanks for the kind words!

:jaw:

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I was trying to figure out the pic through the hood, that is awesome.

That is truly an american dream super sports car, the ride, power, and reliability in a stock car, truly amazing. I never regret buying my TTA over the Vette back in 1989, but I must admit, I do love my 2004 Vette and mine is just a baby compared to your car. The Vette is a totally different beast, but as much fun to look at as it is to drive.

The ZR1 must be a new car though, a pic with only 34 miles on the odometer, that won't last for long. Well, it wouldn't for me. I hope you got a great deal on it now that is is a couple years old, but basically brand new. Plus I love the odometer with 220 mph on it.

Just looking at that engine bay is amazing. I was on the gm website and you can buy that crate engine for $21,100. WOW

Enjoy it, and post more pics when you can.

Yeah tell us how fast you have taken it!!! How many guys try to race you at lights or do they all just shy away???

Very nice...........
How long until mom gets to park it in her garage?:D

I already gave her the TTA! One day when I go home to visit her with it, I'll probably request the garage spot :D (she stores the TTA)

A buddys Father-in-Law has a very early production ZR1. It was used for a test in Autoweek or maybe Automobile I can't recall which. If anyone has back issues it's referred to as the Beast. They rented an airfield and he got to top end the car. He went 195mph. Pretty darn cool cars!

I am not bashing at all, but I am unsure if I like the chrome wheels or the competition grey wheels better on the white ZR1. I think I would lean toward the comp grey in this instance.

Also, if you get a chance swap over to black headlights. I think you would love the look!!!

Like I said, I am jealous.....:cowboy:

Congrats sir, you obviously worked hard, enjoy it.

I think it is perfect the way it is.

I love the White with the Chrome and Blue Accents.

Would love to pics of the interior if you have any. That has always been the knock on GM, Corvettes, Pontiac's, that the interiors were cheap or plastic. But one of the coolest features is the HUD (Head Up Display) The seats on the C5 are terrible and lucky for me the previous owner put custom seats in. I love the brushed aluminum gauge bezels and they are on my list of mods to do. I would have to believe that Chevy put some extra touches on the ZR1 interior, probably a better steering wheel, special badges, seats, and instruments engine, ie supercharger. I have only seen one up close and personnel at the Chevy dealer when my Tahoe was serviced, and it had a big sign on it to look but not touch, as well at the $110,000 window sticker, so couldn't really get a good look at the inside.

It's all good. :) To be honest, I do not like the comp grey (wheel) color. To each their own.

I have looked in to some black headlight covers. That way, I could just remove the covers if I wanted to.

Also, it's nothing to be jealous over. Here is a saying I have....and I am the only person I've heard say it - "I'm am envious......but never jealous"

Thank you for the compliments - I have worked hard, and still do. I appreciate every opportunity I've had - and feel very blessed for it.

I think its awesome you have a zr1, that has got to be one of the "to have" cars of this time. If your an American muscle fan...... other wise you'd want the new gullwing mercedes...... ( a colleuge has one and I'd go for the zr1). I like the white too.... :)

Love the SLS, have you driven one yet? I've only had the chance to drive one so far and kept it under 100 but still the combination of refinement, handling, power, and style was amazing.

Love the ZR1 too, it would be a tough call for me. Can't wait for when I no longer need the room for the kids and I can shop for a two seater.
