Had the stickers over a month. Finally got around this evening to apply. I wasn't a fan originally when I looked at TTAs 5 years ago but I've Screenshot_20160830-182832.png Screenshot_20160830-182836.png changed my mind.
 
I have the stickers, not sure if I am going to keep them. One day I want to keep them the next I want the clean look, historically I remove many badges and stickers but this is a different situation being the history of the cars!? On another note I definitely need to tint my windows!

I just received my sunroof shades and installed them, I will take the T-Tops back out for the next ride but they will be great in the fall
 
Thanks everyone. It's strange how my opinion changed over the years but for now I really like it and I strongly believe it will help people learn what this car is......maybe now I will stop getting " you did a real nice job swapping that motor" at shows.
 
Love that you put the pace car decals on. Hate the window tinting - it looks pimped. A classic car should have a clean, "like original" look. Just MHO.
 
I changed my mind about the stickers overtime too. I always said that I wouldn't have them turns out I like it better. Without the decals the car would go unnoticed around here. I think the window tint looks good.

I just recently got back from a show and I noticed people seemed to understand the car with the lettering.....that was my point so I'm glad it's working. I am a tint guy but I'd prefer not so dark. I like a a lighter shade but the rear hatch was done prior to me buying it..my tint guy said it could be removed but there was a good chance of taking the defrost wiring with it. So based on that I stayed the corse.
 
Dark windows is good for your car. We won't have to look at you when you cruise by. ;) Congrats on the double win last weekend.

When we bought #545, it had the decals already on. I was not really a fan (I usually go for "less flashy"), but it looked like it would be a ton of work to remove them, plus I had concerns about what would happen to the paint during removal - or if there would be any residue or discoloration under or around there (I think that they were installed very soon after a repaint). Bottom line - I decided to leave them on. All of this discussion helps me believe that it was the best call all around.

i was thinking of removing mine also, but beginning to like the looks i get a lot a questions with them on. the are peeling in a few spots when they star looking bad ill remove them.

Easy to say living in Washington lol. I live in FL and it is brutal without the windows tinted, especially in the back for my kids. Mine is getting done next week haha.
 
Good point. I don't have anything against tinting in general; I tinted my Challenger for the privacy and because it looks good against the black stripes and wheels. I just don't think it looks good on the TTA, but that's just my worthless opinion.
 
Haha, I understood. I just got a kick out of it because I just had my car out that day and was thinking that I can't wait to get them tinted. It gets brutal in there living in FL! The ac is just like "I think I can. I think I can..." lol
 
I'd perfer a lighter tint. I think a lighter film looks more classy but the rear was already done that shade so I stayed with it. Debating tinting the grand national I recently picked up....
