Best place for battery ground cable

I have been told at least twice that my battery ground cable, is at wrong place on the engine, it is near exhaust manifold. Would it be better if it was moved to front of engine block? Where is the best place?

Mine is on the turbo bracket lower mounting hole,that bolts to the RH head.

Lower turbo bracket is where I thought it should go. At least is it is away from the exaust manifold.

mine is on the lower bracket for the turbo of the rh head..... um, ya what Rich said.
