Black Air: The Buick GN Documentary Film

The even cooler part is all those scenes in that clip of the GN in motion, Those are me in my 86 GN. I did a 3 day shoot for this film with my car. It's going to be a really cool movie for sure! I'm good friends with the producer that made this movie so I'm thinking his next movie project should be...... ttarider

Here are a few on location still I snapped while he was shooting bits and pieces for the movie..

MAGNA had a private screening "preview" of the whole movie on Saturday 12/8... with Andrew there in-person to give his comments. It was fascinating.
Thanks, Jim!!
Picked up a signed copy of the DVD, too.

Glad you enjoyed the screening Mark! I loved the footage of the last 87 being built. When the body came down on the chassis really took my breath away. It would have been amazing to actually be there when that happened. Was wild that the guy who owns the last 87 GN ever made actually took it out of the garage for a run down the block and it's been inclosed in a room in his house since 87! I'm surprised it didn't blow up when he got into boost!

I did talk to the film maker and he said depending on how this one sells (he's up to 800 plus copies sold as of now I think) he may make another one with the TTA, TY, and SY just to show how the engine lived on in other cars. So stay tuned for that one! You know me I'll keep on him to make something on the TTA's! It was done very professionally for sure.

Unfortunately I have to work Saturdays so I don't get out to many club events.. But i ordered 2 to support the cause

Has anyone received their copy that ordered since Dec. 11? I haven't seen mine, good thing it was not to be a Christmas present...

I got mine 2 or 3 days ago. Will watch it this weekend when not so busy. I believe I ordered it a couple of days after it was available. It came in regular mail, shipped in a small brown mailer.

I ordered the evening it came out, the 11th...but that may explain it...my mailman is a complete idiot...I get other peoples mail if it is either the same street name, or the same number but can be any street in a 2 or 3 miles radius...

Ordered on the 12th and got mine 2 days ago. Have not watched it yet, been busy with holiday stuff. However I'm still waiting for Poster...

Thanks Mike. The trailer wasn't loading here for some reason so although the answer to my question might have been obvious, I was having trouble finding it... TNX and happy holidays!

I got a chance to watch it last night while in TN. It is a great video, makes one appreciate where our engines originated from.

Jim, I saw your GN in the video and your name was listed in the credits at the end. Congrats!

Also there is bonus material there also, Two videos made in the Jegs Suite, in Hebron Ohio. Brings back memorys of the TTA reunion.:D
