Sounds like a kick-ass project. Is that your garage in the first pic?

Joe, are you still sold on the 455 with a blower? Granted, it probably could use a tune up and get 12 or something.
Yes, I am still sold a Buick 455 with a Procharger. They are cheaper to build than a Buick V6 Stage motor as well. Yes.. not the most efficient motor but they are more practical.
A friend of mine has a stock Buick 455 in a Regal swap. He has run 12.7X @ 109-110. Not to shabby. Betcha it would whooop the newer GTO or stock 4th Gen Camaro/TA with almost 30 years of tech behind.
I know the newer LS motors are 1500-2000HP capable. But... I like what I like.:kissass:
Quote me where I said a Buick Stage motor is cheap.![]()
Any old road sign will fix that problem. he he he he
We aren't using those valvecovers. They look shitty with the coils mounted on them and you can't powdercoat them.
We are using these valve covers anodized. We are also painting the block Pontiac blue.

Looks good as I told you before. Still don't understand the single-plane, they make stock style intakes now that flow just as good. It'll be interesting to see how you make the shaker functional.
Who are you taking the car to in Dallas?
