caravan to the reunion.

I figured we ought to have a thread for people that want to join others to drive out to the reunion. If anyone else is going on Friday and heading through Pennsylvania, I am joining up with a few others and going out the turnpike. If anyone wants to join in, you are more than welcome. Just let us know when and where.

Yeah, I figure you would be going out on Thursday. Have a safe trip, and don't worry, that new truck of yours will tow that trailer just fine. You will probably catch yourself looking in the rearview just to make sure it is still back there. I almost bought an 07 1/2 Chevy 2500 HD last year from work. it was a crew cab 4x4 same color as yours. Had 69k miles for $20k. Thing was like brand new. But the wife wanted new Windows and siding on the house so I had to pass. That's why I'm driving the car out instead of trailering it. Oh well. I was told I can get a new truck when she comes back from her deployment as long as I don't buy anymore cars until then.

Thanks Nick see ya there! Can't wait to tow with the truck! I always see guys with 1500 trucks and Blazers hauling enclosed trailers and it seems like they are doing it fine. With the beast I have, like you said, I'm hoping to look in the mirror and say "oh look there is a trailer behind me" :) Although I have about 300 lbs of extra's coming with me! Goodie bags, awards, dash plaques, etc, etc, and Jan's stuff he's been shipping to my house to haul out as well! :) It will be a lighter load on the way back at least! :)
