Cars for sale section

Does anyone know why the cars for sale section is such a mess? I could understand that the mods wanted to make a few changes because a for sale thread would go off on other topics, but now the section doesn't work at all. Robert tried to post his car there a few weeks ago and nobody could see it. We used to get a good bit of cars for sale posted there, and now we don't have any. :thumbdwn:
 
From my laptop,which rarely comes to this site,I was able to look at the cars for sale section....set the options to show post from "last year" and everything showed up including Robert's #308 TTA.

So from here I see no problems...with the exception that the default search parameter is " last day".....so if anything maybe a default view would be from the last 60 days. That would probably clear up any problems.
 
The cars never show up even when they were just posted. I just changed the default to 60 days and a car showed up there from the past few days that I never even knew got posted.
 
Besides - why would the search parameters be set to default to the last day? By the time an ad gets approved to post from the moderators, no one will ever see it. No one realizes the search parameters are screwed up.
 
Not to mention there are the some cars posted multiple times but when I want to add some info to mine I can't even reply to it or mods will not allow it to post again. So far I've gotten more leads of the turbo Buick boards, not a one here.

As far as Robert's TTA for sale, you can change the search parameter but you can not see the pictures of his car. It is still waiting moderator approval. So it appears to show up in words that one can see but no attachments or pics.:DontGetIt:

I'm in the same boat. I posted pics but they never showed....
You can make the original post but no one can reply to the posts for some reason.

It even shows it has an attatchment on the forum but the pics don't show up on in the thread.
 
Okay, so I guess it's a problem...I say not to waste time here and post it directly on turbo buick forum.

Lot more traffic there anyway...

OK OK Settle Down.. Its fixed and back to the way it was...

I will look into adding a classifieds plugin so that there will be no replies and BS starting when someone is simply trying to sell their car.

Thank's Chris, if anybody start's any B.S i will send twenty teenage girl's to there house to roll the yard and they will all say Jim sent them...:yes:

Now when you say twenty teenage girl's, do you mean they are 18+ and have a real job?
