CL Tx- VIP TTA

Interesting claim no 413 being a Indy festival "VIP" car ... not according to any of our records ... and it's a t-top / leather NOT a t-top / cloth ... February 1989 built car so not even close to the batch built and used @ Indy.

So unless car comes with some paperwork saying differently I say it's "just" a regular t-top / leather and looks nice and clean.

Same car where on ebay back in 2009 with no claims being a festival and or VIP car @ Indy.
 
Don't know either way, but when I got my TTA at the the GM Indianapolis auto auction in the summer of 1990, I was told that my TTA was a VIP car used by industry people and others to drive around Indy. It's a leather T-Top car. IDK, either way, just glad it's a TA with the V6 turbo and not the 350TPI motor, which they had several of...but hey, I saw a GNX convertible at that auction several months ealier, so who knows what was going through the GM auction back then. My dad told me that it wasn't unusual for GM people to drive prototypes to the auction which were never up for sell but parked in the area.
Wish I had my iphone back then, I would have killer pics.
 
I think the seat covers look ok, maybe a little off in color, but it is almost impossible to get the exact match. If they went to all that trouble on the interior, they should have replaced the "red" seat belt release buttons. About a 12 dollar improvement, which I did with my car, really finishes off the interior.

I don't like the big Power Tour decal in the back window, the car has enough emblems and decals on it already.
 
The owner is not in the local Buick club, which most of the ones I know around here are, or have been seen by other members somewhere, and it has a 2013 Power Tour logo also... I was on the entire 2013 tour and did not see it..Didn't go on 2014 which he did.
