didnt i see a thread on cooling fans somewhere ? DontKnow:
thanks guys , had it smog tested today (for my first time),it passed ,. just wondering how hot it should run :thumbup:There is a Mod you can do to make both fans work all the time, like they do when your AC is on. This cause lower engine temps, like in hot weather or sitting in traffic. A cooler TTA runs much better.
are both cooling fans suppose to come on - Turbo Trans Am Forum
There is a air cOnd relay by the pass fender. You have to ground one of those wires. I can check when I get home and post pics
simo has a great thread....
was that on this site ? scanmaster said it was 207 degrees , even though the heat index was close to 100 , i thought that was a little hot :explosion:I remember, Simo has really good pictures of how he did it.

i agree , though i may do the other at a later time . dont make sense that GM did it that way , but after dealing with the oil drain on the turbo , i dont know why im surprised , which by the way i may have to take the turbo back off to fix the leak :thumbdwn:Jarred's mod seems to be the easier and less complex one.
That's the mod I was referring to. I forgot he had wired in a switch too.
