Looking at this engine bay, and only pic I have, what can you guys tell me about it?

Also how come some TTA's have a TTA shield on the map holder passenger side, and like this car here doesn't?

Any help guys I wouls appreciate it, getting close to getting mine.
And anything else I should look for?

Thanks again, Marcel

#1. The oil blow-by tube has been removed and replaced with a filter. A mechanical on-rail fuel pressure gauge has been added.

#2. The original map pocket emblems are held on by a pair of small cleats crimped into the pocket. It could fall off under the right circumstances.

Nope they just have double sided tape on them to hold them in place.

Some fell off over the years some been stolen @ dealerships or similar ....

As far as placement goes for the lost emblem, on my car I could see where the old emblem had been. It made it easy replacing it.:beach:

In second pic, looks like lower dash panel has either been removed or is coming loose. By removing that panel you can access to the ecm and the chip.

Thanks for the feedback guys, going to look at this TTA real soon, and make a decision. I saw the gauage, and the filter, the guy said it was stock so I wanted to see if owners were seeing something I'm not.

As for the pin can I get one? And were from?
Thanks for the help, will post updates.

Car Motorsports has them. There was also some hat pins for sale on Ebay. The TTA hat pin is a map holder emblem with a stud welded on. If you cut the stud off and put some double sided tape on, it will fit like original.

This is exactly what I did as mine was missing when I bought the car. I could tell where the old one was from some residue on the map pocket. Cut off the stud and stuck it on, problem solved.

I have a NOS TTA Hat Pin emblem for sale on Ebay now. These are the exact same emblems and work perfect for the Map Pocket. Just cut off the stud and use 3M double sided tape and you are ready to rock. You can even buy the emblem tape already cut to size.
