dimpled wheels vs non

There is a set of 4 GTA wheels for sale, complete with decent tires, WS6 center caps, lug nuts and covers I am interested in. He says they are from an 87 GTA, but from the pictures 2 are dimpled and 2 are not. I know the TTA fronts are larger-will the non dimpled fit on the TTA? I am thinking about picked them up to use in winter, when the car is parked, so I can get the orig refinished. What do you guys think is a fair price?-they dont look curb rashed, but have a small area of clear coat peeling on a couple. I know 2 should be marked R(rear) and 2 marked F(front). Thanks

Depend's on how much they are asking, not sure about whether the non dimpled will work or not but are the n/d the front's? have some one local to me with a set with new mich. tires and WS6 cap's very nice con. for $800...hell i may even buy them since the tire's were $600+...

He is asking less than half of that, but I dont want to buy them if the fronts dont fit. Not sure which ones are n/d. I could just go and look at them and see i guess.

The fronts will fit, 1987 GTA's had non dimpled rims. They are the same. What he's selling are a mismatched set.

Yeah I realize the dimpled ones obviously aren't from 87, but I just wanted some spares for storage and the price seemed right. Thanks for the info! I will go and check them out then.

Hell if the tire's are good and the rim's straight they are worth $350-$400 easy...

I paid 250 for a rear pair of dimpled wheels only in decent shape for DR's and 200 for a rear set of TBSS spare wheels for DR's thats a good deal just wish all 4 were dimpled

Just got back-the tires were so so on the rears, good tread but some sidewall cracking. The dimpled rims WERE the fronts, got the WS6 center caps (fair shape) and a box of lug nuts and covers. Got him down to $275 for all 4. He was a tow truck driver and a he towed a GTA to impound. Unfortunately, it went to the scrap yard-he pulled the rims, badges and a few other things. I talked to him about it-it was a white 87. Got scrap price for it-ugg!! Told him the engine was worth more than he got for scrap. Oh well at least I got the rims and they were saved.
