DMH Performance E-Cutout Fit

I know there was a group purchase a little while ago. How well do they work and fit? My car has a Terry Houston on it with the Y-Pipe just after the DP. Will the E-Cutout fit up under the car without betting in the way of the floor pan?

thanks

Nothing should bump into anything...I have a THDP too. The cat delete pipe is replaced with a pipe with a coutout section installed,or you could that section/piece fabricated to your existing part, the elec part fits on the end. You may need to fabricate something to point the exhaust down to avoid burning up your passenger.

Actually, that is the pipe I have on my car...at least it looks the same based on what I can see in the pic. When I bought my THDP it was a 3rd hand type of a deal. It passed through 2 people who never installed it. Both sold their car before they used the pipe. As such I was not able to "option" it as I wanted. It sounds like you could get a CAT, a straight pipe, or the Y pipe when purchased new. One way or another I have the Y with the manual cover. Given that, if I have no clearance problems, I guess the only other thing to think about is mounting. The bolts on mine are tacked in so I am guessing I need to grind out the tacks to swap in longer bolts. I want to say I only have 1/2" of thread through the hole. More than enough for the flat plate but probably less than enough for the E-Cutout.
