Do they all Idle like a 440 Hemi?

Yeah get a TT chip, a 340 Walbro that they sell as well, i myself am going to get rid of the K@N filter as i think it is messing with the Maf ( oil ), you don't have to buy new inj. but if you ever upgrade the turbo you will want them so think about it, if you get them now it leaves room to grow and won't hurt a thing if you never do.

And a bed for the garage!!
 
FWIW - be careful about where you get the hot wire kit... the one for a GN is not correct (don't ask me how I found that out :bash:)
(I ended up getting the Injector Harness and the Fuel Pump hot wire kit from Casper's)

it was an absolute "last minute" deal with drop ship/UPS next-day-air and such due to deadlines. The car was with Jim Dunn and he had only one day access to a Lift (for the fuel pump). I was lucky that Casper's was willing to assign a tech to put one together and ship it out that same day... I'm guessin' that they don't sell these everyday :rolleyes: I was not doing the work and thus the timing was much more critical...
I had bought a hot wire kit with everything else, but somehow the fact that the one for TTA and GN are different was "missed".

Originally yes. I was disappointed that Eric didn't tell me that it wouldn't work on the TTA. I got the chip and injectors from TT... sometimes little details get lost along the way, that is why I mentioned it here.

All this stuff arrived within the last week.

Walbro 255 Pump with Hot Wire Kit from Racetronics
Injectors, 60 with 5.7 TT Chip-TT
LT1 MAF and Translator-TT
ScanMaster 2.1-TT

Engine Mounts-2
Trans Mount-1
Rear Shocks AC Delco-2
New Exhaust Hangers-3

Before I get started on this, anybody have any tips,what to look for, and initial start-up after all upgrades?

The plan is to take it to the tech and get the pump and Hotwire installed. Along with the mounts while it up in the air. Then take this beast home and do the Injectors,MAF, Translator, and Scammaster.

I take it that once all buttoned up, this thing will go through a RE-LEARN process for a while?

Thanks Robert. Plan is to get this scheduled for pump next week and then go from there. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'll wait for my 85 WS6 to show up from Conn.!
 
Just for S&G's, what kind of gains will these upgrades give me? Just curious. Besides the mounts and struts, of course! LOL!
 
Gains will be smoother idle and overall better drive ability, the butt dyno will think it's faster, depending on what music you are listening to...:dance:

After reading this whole thread it sounds like I am in the same place as BOBTTA#464. So how did everything work out with all the additions? Did you get all the electrical components from TurboTweak except for the hotwire kit from Racetronix?
 
we'll see if anyone else chimes in.
IIRC, Bob ended up with some bad feelings and has "left the building", I don't think that he will respond?
 
Bummer, looks like he was about to really improve his car's running/drivability. I'm trying to pick a ScanMaster and posted a reply a few minutes ago asking about the small gauge sized scanmaster. Any thoughts? I don't know how to tell you where that post is except that I just posted it in the last 5 minutes - thanks.
