Taking my trans mount apart and noticed the rubber donuts smashed between the top plate and bottom plate were differnt. The one on the single (left) side had steel shaft small side up and the 2 on the left were reversed. Does that seem right to you guys?
 
I can't recall exactly how those go together but I do know it was confusing. Maybe Jan can chime in and shed some light. I now run the spohn trans x member and it is easier.
 
One is wrong and two are right :-)

The top plate in the picture got the steel inserts / sleeves correct ... the bottomg plate on rubber bushing / donut is facing the right way .. you see on the size of the holes in the top plate how they should fit together.

I would recommend replacing them however not easy to get hold of as they were discontinued years ago. If you need the part numbers I can dig them out for you.
 
Jan I'm confused by what you wrote.....the single right side needs to be flipped over like the 2 on the left??

They seem in great shape don't think I need to replace
 
Sorry the one on the right side is correct other two should be flipped. You see how they fit together if you look at both halfs.
