Door Lock Button

Was getting ready to put on the door panels, and noticed that the driver side lock doesn't close or open. I can open/close from driver and passenger buttons, but will only open and close passenger, seems like no power on driver side, but driver side button will open and close passenger side.

Any help I appreciate it.

Do you get power to the lock solenoid in that door when you push the open/lock button? Oh and is the solenoid plugged in :)

Going to go over things again on that door, but that button does open the passenger door just not that door (driver side).

Unplug the lock solenoid on your driver side door and see if you get power ... if you do the solenoid might need replacing OR the linkage is binding from the solenoid to the door lock itself so you might want to look at this as well ... you should be able to grab the linkage where it connects to the solenoid and lock / unlock with you hand pulling it up/down to make sure the mechanical linkage works fine.

Thanks jan, got it. Went over things, and sprayed some WD40 on the plug, reconnected it, and bam working. Hate to put the panels back on and things aren't working. Now the new calipers I put on the front right is sticking, got to go return it, working out all glitches.

Thanks for your help Jan, much appreciate it!
