End Cap Oil Filter Wrench At Harbor Freight

I was at harbor freight today and I saw these end cap oil filter wrenchs there, I got the penzoil one a while back and it worked good, especially if you use a filter magnet.

One of these might also work, I changed my oil last week and I will have to wait to try one of the harbor freight ones next time.

I would see if you can bring a filter with you and try before you buy.

I had a metal one and the napa filters would not fit that one but the delco did ... also tried a couple of others when @ autozone or kragan I remember and same thing some filters would fit others would not depending on brand.

The penzoil filter wrench is the only one I found working with all filter brands I've tried that fit the TTA

Yep, I was thinking the same thing, need to take the filter and try it. :beach:

Plier type seems to work good on all filters,even if it crushes a little on removal.
Spin on by hand anyway !never had good luck with the type that sometimes fits over the end!!
