Engine bay???

Just went to look at a nice low mile TTA and was wondering if this is common or not? When I opened the hood, I noticed that the inner lip of both front fenders looked as if they had been painted and the paint was more like overspray on the fender where it bolts down (inner lip).

I know the paint job on these cars wasn't the greatest, but was this common or did the paint fully cover that area without looking like overspray after it was painted???

Getting closer!!!:burnrubber:

Paint coverage varies from car to car, some are very light and you can actually see the primer thru the paint while others are better. And there does not seem to be any specific area that can be light on paint, I've seen it under the hood, on the deck lid, and the front bumper (mostly fog light holes).

HTH,
Steve

That's what I thought, but I wanted to check with those that actually own one first.

Thanks for the input!
