Entered the LS1 world

Cleared a couple cars out of the garage this summer. I love my TTA and all third gens, but really like the looks of the 98-02 4th gens in Navy Blue Metallic and the taupe interior. This car came up for sale and it was about 30 minutes away. It is not a WS6, but has the RamAir hood. Also has SFC's. Only 20k on the clock and very well maintained. Just so you know, I wanted one with an auto tranny. It was a great price for an LS1 with low miles.

I have owned it about a month. It really needed a good detailing. I did a lot of work on the paint, the clear coat had fine scratches in it-like it was ran thru a car wash maybe. I got most of them out and would say the paint is now 9.5 out of 10.

I also got the orig hood, SLP airbox, car cover and a mint set of 17" speedlines which I will put on next season. The underside of the car is extremely clean also.

Super Nice! Great Options! Beauty of a Color, don't see that many well maintained T/A's with this color looking soo plus standard!

Nice! I like the thin spoke RA 17x9s better than the speedlines but they both do look good.

Thanks guys! I did get to drive it a couple times and it definately has some punch. There are no mods on it, but I know with the LS1's there are a lot of options.We will see what next year brings.

What year is it?

Its a 99.

The NBM color changes with sun, clouds and when its dark out. It is a nice change from white.

Funny thing about this car is I bought it in the heart of Amish country. I had never seen it out at any events. I am pretty sure the guy I bought it from was of some Amish decent-maybe one of those guys that left the order. He just bought a house and wanted some equity to do improvements.

Very sharp! Wow, super low miles, and nice color combination - hard to believe that underside is so clean. Must'a' been enthusiast owned.
I've heard a lot of good over the years about the performance & handling of the 4th Gens, too (with nearly unlimited potential if that would be the goal).
