Fall Carlisle

Look us up, I have a vending spot in the car coral in centre field, not sure which vehicle we are taking at this point. But we are taking a beer cooler for sure . :thumbup: Weather is supposed to be fairly decent at this point.
Not a problem, I'll PM you my vending spot. We have not decided whether there are just two of us heading down or 3. If it's just two, we will likely take my buddy's GTA, if the 3rd decides too go we will take my Avalanche. Weather is still looking good, so we will be buzzing out on Wed morning.

Carlisle is about the half way point for me to Charlotte, so you are further than we are. it takes about 7 1/2 hours for us to get there, it's enough.
They are both good, but I kinda prefer the Fall one. Get parts for winter work, sun is not quite so high, so you don't get burnt & it's usually a bit warmer. Carlisle is one month ahead of us in the spring, so it's nice that way, but there's all kinds of tree pollen and if you have a sunny day you have to sun scream it. Prices are generally better in the Fall too.
Wish it was just 5 1/2 hours from here, that would be a bonus. Weather for Thurs/Fri & Sat look great for this Fall.
I think that used to be true of Carlisle, but anymore it seems to depend on the weather & what is happening in the economy. I have seen Spring Carlisle with as many empty vending spots as Fall & Saturday afternoon empty of people walking around. I also think the car auction screwed up the show as far as the car coral. You just don't see as many really nice cars on the field anymore. If the weather is nice the crowds will be out.
But, it sure isn't like it used to be.
