Where can I find the TURBO TRANS AM emblem for the front two fenders? Just purchased Car #58 and It doesen't have that emblem also it does not have the factory Black box with the decals owners manual and the key fab. Anybody know where I can purchase one?

I am also curious as mine doesn't have the fender emblems either. The reply I read said that CAR motorsports will be coming out with either the fob or the emblems or both; it wasn't clear. Can anyone tell me if the TTA's always came with the fender emblems in the black box or were some factory installed.

Dave,

From what some have said they were factory installed on the first 300 or so cars, then they ran out of emblems. After that PAS mailed the emblems to the dealers, after more were produced.

Hey guys,
While we are on the subject has there been any word on the release date from CAR motorsports? The Swede had said previously that they were going to release the whole reproduction emblem set. Just curious if that was still the case.
Thanks,
Joe

I believe that they are also offered by Year One in Atlanta in their "Next Generation" cataloque for 82-02 F-bodies. The Trans Am fender emblem for 20th Ann T/A is part number F539-for $89.95 each. The catalgue also covers the Indy Wings, nose emblem, pillar emblem, tail bird, front end "Pontiac" script and the windshield/door decals. Based on the pictures in the cat...they look excellent. Year One tele: 1-800-921-9214

Good Luck

Guys,
Places like Year One and Classic Inds. still keep discontinued items in their catalog, this way to look like they have alot of stuff! The emblems are discontinued! Not only that, these type of places don't keep everything in stock! They order from their local dealerships! If you are not sure if a part is discontinued or you want a price and to order something, it is better to order thru Dal on the internet! Hopefully someone here can post this information! He has the best prices on current GM parts!!!

Hope this helps,

Thanks MrTurboTA
I figured if someone was after an emblem they could give Y1 a shot. E-Bay is the worse place to get these items due to people getting caught up in the excitment of the bidding process...end up paying way over what something is worth. I was following a TTA Key fob and the guy was asking over $50 bucks for the darn thing. Hard to spend that kind of dough on a fob that is worth maybe $30 max. The Swede has mentioned that a company will be manufacturing these emplems and soon to be released to the public. If that is true...I am sure we are going to see a ton of people attempting to unload their TTA emblems on E-Bay before the release (price is driven down). $1200 for a complete set of TTA emplems is insanity!

Haven?t heard anything yet about the emblems.
From what i understand they are ready....just waiting for the GM-license.
Let you all non maillist members know as soon as possible.

TTA Emblems

Guys,

Alan F. here from CAR Motorsports. The TTA Emblems are done. Pics can be provided of all emblems. We had them on display at Bristol event this past weekend. GM Licensing has been secured and emblems are now being produced and sold by us as such. If you are interested, you should contact Rich Van't Hof by email at [email protected] He has all the details on the emblems. All 5 emblems are available.

Wait until you see what's coming out next as a reproduction TTA part........something wonderful. Something rare. Something that's impossible to find.
