After weeks of looking, emailing, calling and trying to schedule a meet date with the seller I finally bought TTA #227285! According to PHS it's build #82 and it has Indy #75 on the rear bumper under the plate. It has a bunch of modifications and needs a little love but the TTA was one of 3 dream cars of mine. The other 2 being a GNX and a Hemi car which are both out of my price range for the foreseeable future. So this is as good as it'll probably get for me!

It's got a THDP which rattles against the frame when it gets hot, SMS alky injection, some kind of boost controller I don't recognize, Scanmaster, Walker exhaust, dump tube, subframe connectors, AFPR (the kind that has an adjustable can on top but is a 233 regulator on the bottom), ported heads with larger SS valves, 206 cam, K&N with a MAF pipe, tranny cooler and probably other things I'm forgetting.

The body is very nice and the cloth interior is just about perfect. I'd like to buy some of the stock parts to have on hand for the future.
Just glad to finally have one of these beauties!
 
Sweeet! Congrats on the purchase Tony! Now get the camera out and get some pics up here! Sounds like you got a keeper and a mover! Should fly pretty good with that combo. Also make sure you register it here on the boards!
 
Thanks Jim! It feels pretty fast from the little driving I've done with it. I have a few pics I'll include if I can. I did email the registry already too. I have a lot of questions I'll be posting shortly. Hope I don't ask too many questions and become a pest!

Just saw your thread TC. Congrats! I bought mine a year ago. I'm finally going to show it tonight for the first time. I have the cloth interior also. I got my build info from PHS and it's not as low as yours. Have a blast with it! I, like yourself, own an 87 Turbo Buick. Good luck.

Best of luck on your new purchase. You are going to love driving the TTA at speed. I own #242670 and a 86GN. They are both great cars but I bet the TTA will make you smile every time you drive it. Hope to see you around town. Take care.

Thanks Dana! Funny thing, I was over Danny's the other day and he said he saw you and your car up the track the other day. He mentioned Gary was there and Greg Cordis too. Sounds like I missed old home week!
We're one town apart so let's try to meet up at a show or the track or something.
 
Hi Tony,
A bunch of us are heading to NE Dragway on Sunday. The weather looks good. A customer of mine with a 5.0 mustang with NOS has been torturing me for months to run against the TTA. Now two more customers, one with a 06 GTO, the other with a 01 Corvette, want in. It should be a ton of laughs. Hope to see you there.
