FLA car on EBAY

Does any one know any thing about this thinking about buying for right price . Thanks for any help Bob
If you are talking about the one that has bid to 4550 it looks like pot luck to me, could be a great deal or a nightmare but one thing is for sure; '"can't win if you don't play"ttarider

Exactly I drove from SC to detroit an back stoping for gas only ... had breakfast in Detroit ... got weird stares an everyone wanted to know what was in the trailer . I told them it was empty

:cool1:I just got back from that area in FLA. Should have stopped and checked that one out. I sure don't need a project like that. You would have a lot of $$$ in it to complete it, not unless you have a lot of parts on hand.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that i bought a car in alot better condtion than this one and i still put over 9k in it... and didn't have to paint it .

That one is definitely rougher than mine, when I bought it, but if I had the extra cash on hand, I think for 6k it would be a great project as well. But will have to be taken apart for sure, and pulling the engine and tranny. $$$

You got that right, it seems to be the reason it set for so long! It could be rougher than it looks.:wall:

I did see that cant pull report up any more. iam thinking a max of 6,000.00 also .i think eng. and trans refresh new gut and paint .

the other 2 i have do have good reports but some paint work done to them hoping lite hits or bumps on this one minor repairs only

Yea everything I did to #77, and engine and tranny rebuild, 6k MAX. Title is clean 4 accidents could've been just small stuff, but for sure would have to check it out before buying this one. It would cost 4X more to get it right than the purchase price.

Even if it end's up being only a part's car you will come out ahead in the LONG run, just be prepared to sit on it for a min.

Here's one priced pretty low if your looking for a project.

I believe this one is at Duke's Paint and Body, if so his shop used to be very well known around here for their work on GN's, he used to have a 9sec GN, he still has alot of GNs sitting around but isn't as well known around here anymore.
If this is where it is at, I literally drive within 1 block of this place every day to work, I'll be happy to stop by and check it out for someone if I can stop in there anytime say around lunch time or so or shortly after 5pm. Find out from the seller and let me know.

Past FLA car trying to buy Craigslist car in Dallas Thanks Rob
Just noticed your sig, were you on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year in your SRT10? I talked to a fellow in Miami,OK in a red SRT that also had some Cuda's..we didn't talk TTA's, but seems like he said his screen name on the SRT10 forum was Cuda something????

a friend in the local Buick club just called me and he was at Duke's shop, was calling to see if I was interested in that TTA, it is one of his customers' car and is there. Said the body is straight and has not been wrecked, looked to be original paint and needs some care, but straight and no obvious rust. Interior is gutted but has all new interior parts, carpet, seat covers etc, not sure on the plastic parts. Said it would make a great driver car.

That is the car that I am looking at. Thank you for the update on the car.

From the information you have, does the car seem worth the 5,500? It does not seem like he will budge on the price.

That was not me on the power tour, but I was at the reunion last year. I have the high mileage pin striped car, and my dad replaced the starter on my brother’s car while we were at the show. I was the person that sat in your car to see if I can fit in a hard top car, and I was talking to you about the supercharger on your truck the day before the show.

Would anyone know of a reasonably priced, reliable carrier to go door to door from the shop in Texas to Eastern Long Island New York?

Check with Pat at Ultimate Auto Shipping, Inc.

[email protected]

He shipped my TTA a few months ago and is shipping my GXP from Wisconsin, next week.

That TTA has been on Craigslist for a while....was originally asking $7k unfinished. Looks like he just dropped the price to $5500 a few days ago.
