Anything that relates to cars interests me, so I was down in Columbus yesterday visiting my son who is interning again at Honda. There is this prototype car in development called the Elio. Supposed to get 80+ miles to the gallon and cost $6800 when produced. The prototype was on display in Columbus this week, so I went to check it out. It reminded me of a Can-Am motorcycle with a cage. Lots of hype and pretty much a pony show with the road tour. Very little info with specs, gonna be a 3 cylinder, with a .9 liter, throttle body engine. Front wheel drive. I think their concept is really cool, but dont really see it ever coming to fruition. If it does, more power to them, it would probably change the world! It has been an ongoing idea since 2009 and they claim they have about 9000 pre-orders. Anyone else ever heard of this car?
