So I'm directing traffic yesterday and I see this sexy white mass coming toward me and the closer it got I saw the gold nose badge so of course I stopped him in traffic and talked to him (pissing everyone else off) anyways I was looking at a tta with 2650 miles on it. Stunning condition. I later went over to his house for a better look. The How to clean sticker was still on the t top. Hes not a fourm member so I'm gonna try and get his last few of the VIN for the registry. He was a super nice dude with a kick ass Pontiac collection. Figured I'd share my story. Take care fellas!!

Yes, Illinois has a few TTA's and many hiding in garages tucked away. We need to have a TTA Love Fest in Illinois next year for sure and I am going to put it together when I find some time. 25th Anniversary TTA Fest maybe.

I used to see a few TTA's here and there in NE Ohio when I first got mine (2010), but none at all the last several years. Always wonder what happened to them. ?

A member here has posted before. There would be another though I moved out of there. I started the craze I must admit back in the early 90's. When all the v8's were getting smoked...by way of yours truly...haha, they just couldn't forget them. I think someone I know even has 3 TTA's. I also converted some chevy dudes into little ol v6 Buick turbo owners. :thumbup:

Hehe...we had 7 of them together back a few years ago when Jan came to town just west of Dallas. Before I knew the guy, I was driving around the lake I live on and saw one sitting in the front yard, stopped and met they guy..became great ski buddies, but he sold his back a few years ago. Still know of a few others in the area I keep in touch with.
Nice. There is a third gen club here in San Antonio, but nobody has anything really spectacular. Plus I haven't seen them active on their website lately. It's lonely being a fan of third gen f bodies here. At least I'll have a TTA to keep me company soon.

Look into your local Buick Club, we used to have turbo Buick gatherings for race events down in Temple and folks from all across Texas would come to them, called the Brand X Bash, but then as the cars got older fewer and fewer turned out, so then we just started over taking some of the Muscle Car Club Challenges with a bunch of Buicks from various clubs. TTA guys are always welcome into the Turbo Buick clubs. Hell our Buick club has folks that don't even own Buick powered cars just because the Mustang guys are azzes so they say, so several are members in our club and do alot for the club, another guy has a '69 Firebird that is Ford powered..he just don't fit in anywhere else

Haha that's awesome! Sounds like a pretty fun club. I'll check out the local turbo Buick scene and see how much activity there is. That would be a great place to really find people who know the power train for sure. Being a newbie to turbo cars in general, that's probably best just for my education on the topic.

Here in the "mid-atlantic" area there are a bunch of TTA owners involved with MAGNA (Mid-Atlantic Grand National Association)... of course there are a number of folks that have both turbo-Buick(s) and a TTA

Yeah the f-body clubs frown upon the TTA usually cause they dont understand them.....a 6-cylinder in a Trans Am, wth was pontiac thinkin?
Yeah and i could take them boy's for a ride and you couldn't slap the grin off their face....:thumbup:
