Front air dam?

My front air dam (that runs side to side) is in 3 or 4 pieces, I'm sure it is suppost to be 1 piece. My question is the center air intake unit that directs air up to the intercooler or radiator that sits behind the front air dam, does it attach to the air damn also or is it a stand alone unit? Mine is a hangin down at a 45 degree angle! I can't tell where it would attach if its suppost to. Anyone know if any of these parts are still available? Thanks
 
I think it is still available through GM, but not as a one piece dam anymore. I think somewhere around 1990 a 3 piece dam replaced it . It will need some material removed from the center section to accomodate the intercooler scoop.
