Front Emblem Placement?

Does anybody have the measurement for the placement of the bumper emblem? Either from the edge of the bumper by the hood to the top of the emblem or to the center of the stud hole? Thanks.

From the center of the bumper (at the hood) to the top of the emblem is 1".

If you bought a reproduction it won't sit correctly. The reproductionones are flat not curved like the originals. The repodictions will have to have the sides built up with extra 3m tape so it will sit half way right. IMO it dosent look good. Why a company would go thru the hassle of making it and not make it correctly still boggles my mind.

Original NOS ones surface once in awhile on ebay. They will go for about 125-150.00

Just pulled mine out of the packaging and it is curved as well. I had assumed it was flat for some reason, but all looks well. Thanks again.

The nose emblem from PWD had the correct curve and not flat. Only the original and the PWD one were curved.

It was this set- 89 Pontiac Firebird 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am 9pc Badge Set

He had it with or without the stud, I got it with. Don't know if that made a difference or not?

Interesting because when I ordered mine from pwd about 2 years ago it was flat as a pancake.

Even the NOS emblem has just a slight curve and the PWD one has a slight curve also. The NOS emblem is thicker though.

Thats good news. I know my past experiences with the flat nose emblems was very frustrating. I'm glad to see that PW made changes. GOOD FOR OUR COMMUNITY

I bought the PWD 10 piece set in 2011 and it came with 2 of the nose emblems. It was $229.
