I have a hood mount gauge, and thought it may be bad so i disconnect it and mounted another and it shows 20 to 30 lbs while running and after shut off pressure bleeds fight off.
Also if its not rising 1: 1 with boost don't drive it, if you a Accufab reg. take it off and throw in the trash, if you have stock or Kirban reg. then the problem is the pump...
Years I dropped money in it to run good numbers but turned to be a nightmare, all the parts from my old grand national went in it, fromm the 70 mm throttle body to Kirban fpr, walbro gss 340 pump, hot wire kit from racetronics.
I have had accufab, and the Kenny bell both worked the same, just like this kirban, they don't hold pressure after shut off, I'm going to have to drop the tank to check for leaks in it, I had this problem before and it went away with the boost a pump but it still did not hold pressure, the only way it hold was with the stock fpr.
The pump is bad, or something is not installed right, the stock reg will run well into the ten's, the old bowling green adjustable stock one's work great. Sounds like a issue with the sock...
Yepee doo, and i'm sure you know that if the fuel sys aint't up to par you will join the change a headgasket club.. if you don't have one the PL is the bomb, saved my ass more than once...
