Fuel Pump getting noisy...will it live?

Finally got to change oil and freshen up the TTA. One of the first things I noticed is that the fuel pump was bit noisy...sounds like somethings clattering, but it's on-off. Is this the death signal??
I changed my oil pressure sensor also when I changed the oil since the original was leaking. The new one reads about 20psi at idle and 40-46 around 2,500rpms...normal? The old sensor never went under 40psi...even went to 80psi at idle cold.

Is the fuel pump noisier when the fuel level is below 1/2 tank, or all the time?

#345 runs at 70+ psi oil pressure (indicated) at cold start-up, and once warm it goes to 40 psi at idle and 55-65 psi freeway cruising

None of my other turbo cars ran anywhere near this much oil pressure so I just figured it was an inaccurate gauge or sender

I was real happy with 15 psi at hot idle and 35 - 40 psi at freeway cruising

I got pretty much the same oil peressure on mine, newly built fresh engine (40 miles so far) ... but I'm running the high volume oil pump cover on mine so this would up the oil pressure.

The old sender on mine was way off then!
The fuel pump makes noise regardless of how much fuel's in the tank...but I'll pay extra attention over the next few days.
