fuel pump relay

How would you go about jumping the fuel pump relay or even better how would you hot wire the fuel pump. I've done the diagnostics per the manual and changed the relay but the fuel pump doesn't run. Is there a definite way to determine that the pump has failed?

I think that there is a little connector (green ?) right at the front of the Driver valve cover that will let U actuate the fuel pump manually, like for pumping out the gas tank at the track or wherever.

I can't remember exactly, but I guess U R supposed to hook to 12 V there, altho' U might want a fuse in there to make sure U can't overamp the pump. They used to have kits to allow U to allow U to pump out the gas tank - a good idea if U R using race gas, particularly leaded, @ the track.

I'm sure the guys on TurboBuick could give more precise details.

You can go to the connector on the floorpan just in front of the rear axel and applt 12V (both pos and neg to the correct wires per the manual and you should hear the pump run. Most likley you will need a pump :) good luck.
