how quick should a fuel pump bleed down , mine does very quick after setting presser .:cool1:

Adam, it should hold pressure for some time after you turn off the engine. I had a quick bleed down on my Walbro pump (lost pressure as soon as I turned off the engine) ... replaced with new Walbro pump and works fine again holding pressure for some time and slowly dropping off.

This happened to my Walbro pump after maybe 3 -5 years (was new when I originally installed it).

And holding pressure we are talking minitues ... so not hours.

My old Walbro wouldn't hold pressure but for 2-3 minutes.The new one holds pressure for more than I cared to stand around and wait to time it,which was 30 minutes or more.
That being said the old pump never had a problem maintaining proper pressure and truth be told I changed it prematurely(the pump) because of the same concerns you have now with it not holding pressure.

So,if it maintains pressure and rises 1:1 with boost I'd leave it alone.

well sir point well taken , you have not led me down one bad path yet . i went ahead and ordered the pump just encase. better safe than stranded! is my new saying of the month lol thanks for the help yall are the best !!!!!!!!!
