Fun from Down Under!

That was sweet! Kinda makes you wonder why America isn't building cars like this anymore. Sure we have the mustang Cobras, Challengers’ and Camaro's but it seems the Aussies are more serious about their performance now. I looked on Top Gears site and found a clip of the Commodore Vs their Ford performance sedan, the F6 310. Both would run rings around any of our current sedan offerings! http://www.topgear.com/us/videos/more/two-aussie-icons Ford is following Pontiacs lead with the new SHO, I think that Car is based on the Mondeo platform which is their fast European Ford Sedan. http://www.topgear.com/us/videos/more/good-company Which begs the question Do we manufacture anything in this country anymore?

I was reading the specs on the new SHO, twin turbo V6, close in HP and numbers to G8 GT but cost as much as a GXP.

Its still possible .. but not likely.. that the Sports Ute will get to be sold by Chevy .. but they really missed a major chance to bring back a stunning vehicle that would have lined up at any set of lights or club show. Glad you guys like them ... you will need to come to Australia to drive one.

While talking about traveling.. is anybody out there going to the Woodward Dream Cruise..?? I flew over to Dayton 3 weeks back for the POCI Coventions.. which was extremely good for a club event .. but only saw two TTA's there.. Detroit on the 15th of August will rock again.. and they deffinately need the good vibes that come from it.. plus the estimated US$57 million boost it gives the local economy. Might be a G8 Sports truck there roaming as well.

Hey Oz, is it possible to import any of those Holdens? What would we need to convert and Who would we contact if it were possible?
