I plugged a code reader in the computer port, turned on the ignition, read the codes (key was on about 1 minute or so) turned off the key and there was a gas smell coming from the engine compartment. I raised the car up (was on a lift) looking for fuel on the floor but nothing. Seems like the smell was more prevelent under the car. Any ideas??????

Check for leaks around the fuel injector rail area. When under the car, follow the fuel line back to the fuel filter area & tank, checking for leaks. You could always hook a fuel gauge to the rail also, turn it on to build pressure & see if it bleeds down right away when turned off. That would be a start anyway!!!!

ya for sure check the O rings around the injectors like turbo1 said. I had leaky injectors on two TTA's because of a loose/torn o-ring. You can kinda hear a sizling sound for a bit after the motor is shut off as fuel leaks out. Sounds like cooking bacon. Not really a big deal to change out o-rings though, and they are cheap. Hope you situation is easy like mine was.
